Nakato
nothing lasts forever but the earth and sky |
It was odd that the alpha all but demanded Nakato look at her in the eye and, at first, it was hard for the druid to accept the change as it went against the customs of the pack she had been raised in. But if that was how it was done here then she would learn to accept the change. Such is the way the wolfess lived life. Everything around her changed and flowed differently. If she were to survive the she would also have to change. It came easily to her and with a blink of an eye, her electric blue gaze met Tick Tock’s evenly. The alpha female spoke in a gruff, yet soft voice. It was as much as a “for your information” rather than a warning about the wolves who called the Plains home. The bobtailed wolf listened carefully to what was said. Of course, her eyes flashed with shock at how nonchalantly Tick Tock mentioned the cannibalistic wolves she ruled. While Nakato had not personally met a wolf who desired the flesh of another, it was not unheard of. The alpha was quick to mention that they did not hunt other members of the pack and that there were all well protected. She gave an understanding nod and a shrug of her sholders. ”As I said before, I am looking for a home that will offer me protection from the harsh world we live in. Who am I to judge another? As long as I have a loyal alpha, I will return the favor with my own loyalties. My services are for you to command.” Nakato bowed her head slightly as she waited for the other’s reply. Living here was going to take some getting used to as things seemed vastly different that how they were in her homeland. But the druid was confident she could adapt to the lifestyle, minus the wolf eating part, and live quite comfortably within the plains. |
