I hear rumors that Eden's mother is not feeling well so I think he's been usy taking care of her a lot. It makes me feel better about him to know that he cares so much about his own mother. I would take care of my mom gladly if she were still around. Of course it isn't long before I catch a whiff of his scent and I know that he's on his way. I smirk and turn my head, watching for his approach as I hear his running paws. As he comes into view, I tuck my ears and bow my head respectfully in his direction, glad that he'll get to see me meeting new wolves and welcoming them into the pack. It can only help my standing for the rank I desire. He then looks to Bellatrix and I'm able to observe the way he masks his emotions but I can tell that he's curious about her. He seems to like her size but maybe also be cautious because of it and of course it's expectant that he would be curious of her markings. Who wouldn't be? He sits beside me though not in my space, his glance toward me not a dismissal sort of look so I take it that I'm allowed to stay which I smile at. He smiles then at Bellatrix and speaks to her, wanting to know her purpose. He has such a regal way of saying things. I like it. Maybe I should adopt such a speaking style. Bellatrix is indeed a strong looking female, a warrior if she ever wished to be one but then I've been told I'm built to fight as well and that's the furthest from what I want. She seems happy of my words, glad that I think she'll be of use and pleased that Eden is an active leader. I watch her own features as Eden approaches, observing the way she takes in the hold of his tail to know he's the alpha and then she looks him over casually. Who knows what she's picking up on but I'm taking notes. I tilt my head some at her first words to him, like she feels bad that he has to come to the borders all the time. I had never thought of it that way. I glance toward Eden, slight concern in my gaze. Maybe I should be answering calls more often to take some of that burden away from him? I could only meet and greet for now though since I have no rank to welcome them and I need his trust in my judgement before I could tell a wolf they are welcome in Glorall. Perhaps I'll develope that trust over time. My eyes widen a bit in curiosity when she speaks next, like she has a past in Glorall. "You say roots...do you mean that you used to live here or that your parents lived here?" I glance toward Eden, a slight apology that I may be speaking out of turn but if I'm staying, I should be a part of the conversation somehow right?
