"Your name shall be carved into legend once my Sword has carved into your chest." ~Song Of Achilles
I can understand why the alpha would be angry to think someone had purposely come to steal her wolves right out from under her. I fear that our efforts for a treaty or alliance have been ruined by this mistake and that Hyrule's attempts at reaching out an alive branch have been burnt to the ground. I want to at least make an attempt to make up for it and what better way than putting myself in harm's way to show her I mean no harm of my own? Surely I wouldn't come here if I had meant to start trouble for it would end badly for myself. I am sorely out numbered and I didn't even bring my trusted guardian this time so I am really on my own. I didn't even tell Vega where I was going for fear she would try to stop me. I know how little she trusts the wolves of Asteraia due to rumors.
I know that she could have just jumped to conclusions and aimed for violence when she came to Diveen. It disheartened me to find her so tense on our approach but I'll let it slide since she was pregnant and hormonal much as my own mate. I can picture Vega doing the same in that situation so maybe now things will be better. I've given it time for things to settle down and now I'm coming on her grounds to prove her time is worth it. I do not know how my arrival will be taken. I had told her I would be coming soon but I never set a guideline for when so I hope it's not too soon. None the less, I'm pleased to hear her answering call, my ears pricking forward.
Her words as she arrives is enough to make my lips crinkle into a smirk. "Nice to see you again too." I say lightly, letting her know with the smirk and the glow in my eyes that I mean well as I step over the borders to walk beside her. I turn my gaze back to her. "You know my name but what should I call you? Majora came to know you as Impa. Is that the same name I shall have as well?" I know that we have business to discuss but I'd rather break the ice a little and get to know her first.
My gaze is distracted however by the approach of another. At first I might have thought it to be Tobias, the alpha's imprint and king, but Tobias was never so gangly as this one and he's not as tall as the king quite yet. An offspring then. It can only be with eyes so green as his and the tail is a dead give away that other blood is mixed in. I cannot know if it is from the queen before me's loins or someone else's that this one came but he has a look in his eyes that I find quite curious.
The boy moves toward me and all but touches my nose, a gesture both disconcerting and rather against my hygiene standards since I don't know the last time this wolf bathed. I resist the urge to jerk back, not wanting him to think I'm intimidated by him or anything. Instead my nose wrinkles and my eyes blink at him calmly, my head only rising a little, a silent gesture to be cautious of his next move. When he suddenly grins, my ears flicker back, threatening to flatten but not quite, wanting to simply wait for now and see what happens. His words make my ears flicker once more. All the things? I tilt my head, gaze glowing with puzzlement.
He continues to speak and I find my lips twitching, the shadow of a smirk as my tail twitches. "Then I feel ripped off for I know nothing about you. Can I have something to ease my mind? A name? A favorite food? Anything?" I continue to watch as he suddenly turns from me after a look to the alpha, going to sit off to the side. I tilt my head a little more before I turn to look back at the alpha, waiting for her next move.
