Glorall

Disaster has struck!
Flooding from the north has taken its toll on Glorall. The large tides combined with the increase in water draining from the Ruieze River has flooded the lower regions of the pack. The sandy soil, compounded with so much water, has toppled a lot of trees. Traveling is difficult even when the water is shallower, with the sandy soil below being difficult to find traction on. The daily tides seem to keep the level of flooding fairly consistent, too.

During the low tide, wolves may be able to move around the higher dunes (with some difficulty) but during high tide, the pack is almost impossible to safely navigate. Swimming is possible, but the risk of currants and surges from either the ocean or the river are very real. The island off of the coast of Glorall is untouched by either issue, although it is incredibly difficult to find your way there without being an adept swimmer with plenty of good luck!

Note: Glorall will reopen once 30 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes. Glorall is currently not open for challenges.

Inanna’s tail wagging made her body wiggle in excitement. She and Thor had gone and an adventure. He had told her what friends did when they trusted each other and had been friendly. His mother was being just as friendly, talking with her and laughing at her, though she did not know why. Her eyes brightened, tongue rolling out eagerly. Maybe Thor’s mother would let them keep playing together! Especially if they did not get in trouble. Or at least try to get in trouble. Inanna had discovered that sometimes trouble just seemed to pop up, whether she had been looking for it or not.

“Thor is really nice! I haven’t seen him in a little while. He found my den, but didn’t want to go in it. We went to the beach instead!” The little girl babbled happily, dancing along the edge of telling Natu too much about her secret den. It was as though the pup spoke enough to make up the difference between herself and her soundless sister. She had not yet learned that being a voice for another did not mean she needed to be constantly voicing. Her young head titled to the side and her eyes narrowed slightly at the older wolf. “Neither. It upset me, so I had to kill it. But now that I have it I am going to give it to Sif. She finds sticks all the time to draw with. This one I won for her. She can use it!” Her expression shifted to confusion. Why would she gnaw on a wolf if they were not playing? Obviously she would teeth at her siblings’ ears. But that didn’t mean she was going to walk up and chew on adult’s paws. Unless they tasted funny, in which case she would just lick them. Not actually bite. Her ears flattened a little in confusion. Next to her sister she had never been mistaken for a warrior. “No…” She explained. “That is Sif! She is the warrior. But I’ll still bite you if I need to!” If there was one thing she learned from her sister, it was to at least protect and stand up for herself.
