Indeed the child held both traits of her parents and few had any idea of what she would truly become one day. Nevermore had no idea what she would be, but the shadow child had an idea. She knows her Mother and Father are strong. She knows the males that belong to She of Red and White are strong too, and she was sure that Brother and herself were as well. Though she knew she was...different. She saw things, shiny things and they called to her. She was sure she heard voices in her head, urging her to do terrible things to the small animals she captured. She was learning to be a killer, as nature intended, but perhaps nature went a bit too far. She was not like her Father, not yet, but she could be if she went down that path. Though perhaps she would be recused by her Mother’s influence and she might be lucky to steer clear from the tendencies similar to Tobias. Though right now she was not thinking about who she would become, it did not matter to her, it wasn’t even on her mind right now. What was important to the daughter of two Monsters was why there were dead fish with this bob-tailed wolf.
Soft dark ears pointed forwards towards the Frankenstein as soon as she heard her name. The name was recognizable, it was what she knew, and she knew she needed to respond. Though she did not know how. By tone alone she knew how others wanted her to act. Brother always had an annoyed voice when he said her name and she knew she was not only getting his attention, but annoying him too. When Provider said her name she knew she grew silent providing her the respect and attention she knew she deserved. But she did not know how to react when the grey she-wolf said her name. She stood there, dark emerald eyes blazed with a hint of sapphire stared at the woman, without blinking. Unable to deciper the proper reaction to give Nakato, she remains sitting there. But the word ‘aura’ was also unfamiliar and she was not pleased that she did not understand once again. With such an angelic face she titled to her dial as an almost gentle purr came from her black lips.
“Aura? What issssssss my auuurrrraaa?”
She wants to know. She demands to know all things. She is different, but she wants to be like them. She wants to know and so she shall, and she will, because it simply had to be done. Nakato will tell her, this she knows, because she knows it has to happen. Not being told something or not being given anything was something she had not experience and she would not start to experience it now. It was fortunate for Nakato to drive her focus to switch to the idea of trying something new. Bringing herself to her ebony paws her charcoal and silvery form rose as she watched with heavy interest in what the Frankenstein was doing in the water. Fish she knew lived in the water, but she had never been able to get them. As Nakato grabbed the fish from the water an excited yip was given thrilled that she caught the fish. As she tossed it in her direction, Nevermore watched as the scaled creature flipped and flopped, gasping for air. Puzzled she approached it cautiously unsure with what to do with it. One tentative black paw pressed gently into the creature, as it continued to flop around, eyes shifted towards the water and back to the fish. Her dark paw would raise up and she would bring it to the fish swiftly, smacking the creature back into the water. Nakato did not tell her what to do with the fish and she assumed that perhaps she had done the right thing – she did not know right from wrong. Her silvery tail dipped with black swayed side to side eagerly as she looked up towards Nakato, her chest puffing out proudly assuming she did what she was supposed to do, as she happily hissed at the woman.
“Thhiiiisssss gaaaammmmeeeee?”
