The wolf was about her height, maybe a few inches shorter than her. At least maybe ten pounds less. She looked younger, so Amber guessed that was a good thing. She didn't have much to think about it, as the wolf herself seemed to have the need to ask a question about what she was doing. What was the she-wolf to tell the newcomer? Something believable... Well, maybe even the truth since that was pretty believable, was it not? It had to be. Opening her jaws, Amber answered in her unused voice, trying to sound calm. Trying was the very key word here. It did sound just a tiny be confused.
"Well, I was getting a drink" There. The truth. She swore if this wolf kept asking questions like such, she was just going to walk away. Though, there were high chances of the young wolf following her, but she could risk that. Amber just wanted not to be questioned. Questions always seemed to bother her, and the she-wolf never really figured out why. Was a reason really needed? She guessed not. More like hoped. Because, sadly, her answer to being followed was to start running, and that might draw attention.
