1. Jorg is actually a nickname. His real name is Jorgrim
2. His father's followers would refer to him by the title of 'Jarl'
3. Jorg's magic is especially dependent on his emotions and acts largely on instinct. This is a reflection of his personality and continues into adulthood.
4. For similar reasons Jorg is the only character I write in the present tense.
5. Jorg is named after his maternal grandfather - the only member of the family his mother Thyri ever liked and who Rhaegar befriended. They fought together many times.
6. Jorg's mismatched eyes (one green like his mother, one purple like his father) were intended to be representitive of a conflicted soul, torn between his mother's mortal side, and his father's divine.
7. Only two characters in Shaman (other than his parents of course!) currently know who Jorg really is; his nanny Svea and Zed's ladyfriend Rana
8. Jorg was born when magic wasn't working in Shaman. The first time his parents witnessed any sign of magic in him, Jorg transformed into a wolf cub whilst sleeping in his crib.
9. Jorg is Thyri's second child, her first, a daughter, married young and died in childbirth aged 17 back in Thyri's own time. She doesn't talk about her.
10. Jorg has a burn scar at the base of his hand and wrist from when he set fire to his room during a nightmare. Replies:
