Ruieze Fields

Open fields and soft grass...
Ruieze stretches far in the midlands of Moladion, laced with streams that feed into Diveen and out of Asteraia at times. The fields are vast, filled with wildflowers and tall, soft grass; trees are sparse, as are rocks, but one can find small shrubs to hide amongst, and the grass itself. To the south of the fields, a Ruieze River widens, and the ground becomes sandy. There is a small, grassy island that can be reached from the banks, with water-birds often congregating on the island rather than the riverbanks.

Tauriel
do not go

His voice caught her off guard, but she managed to make the slight flinch of her head flow into the upward lifting of her gaze from the small pile of rocks to his form standing on the shore from which she had swum only a handful of minutes prior. Over the past year Tauriel had been working hard on her self confidence - she wanted to be a strong, independent wolf who could survive on her own. And truly she had already achieved as much without realizing it, spending much and more of her time alone in the wilds of Moladion. Even so, there was the barest stirrings of nervousness upon meeting a new wolf, something she was still trying to overcome.

Swallowing down the unwanted feelings, she offered him a smile. "You may," she called out in response, stepping back and away from the stone cairn and leaving it uncovered for the moment. She would be sure to return to it and secure its holdings before she left the island. Her movement also seemed to make an invitation of sorts, gesturing with her entire bodice that he was welcome to join her upon the island.

While she waited for him to make the crossing, she lowered her hindquarters to the sandy beach and averted her gaze, glancing off to her right for a moment and then back towards the water to look for the tricolored male. Once he had gained the island's shore, Tauriel rose to her paws once more so that she might dip her head in greeting. "I am Tauriel," she said, and then she wasn't entirely sure what to say or do next. Perhaps it was best to simply wait and let him introduce himself - after all, he had been the one to initiate their interaction. Maybe he had something to tell her.
