Enocra Woodland

Pine, spruce and firs alike...
Dense coniferous forests cover the woodlands, with clearings, paths and the occasional wildberry shrub throughout. Pine, spruce and fir make up much of the forest in the east, with the forest becoming swampier in the west towards Mecor Valley. In the west, cypress trees dominate, with fallen trees creating bridges across and throughout the stillwaters.

Inara
I can be your ray of light
but I might leave you blind

Inara had been slipping from Glorall more often than not despite the harsh winter she couldn't resist leaving the borders to find new things out about the world she had hardly returned to it when spring came. She moved silently, slightly chastising herself for not finding a place to rest before the sun fell, she was smarter than this but she had spent so much time tailing a fox time had slipped away from her. She hadn’t spent much time exploring this part of the wood and quickly was becoming lost. Her ears flattened to her crown as she looked in confusion she should head south, that much she knew. Even if she spent very little time there she knew Glorall even somewhere inside it called to her, for every wolf knew the place they called home at the end of the day even if it change.

She spent some time trying to find her way out of the woods before hearing a voice call out, it was sort of a surprise to hear another. She stood stiffly debating on responding or not. Her ears drew back and then pressed forward once more she could fend for herself perhaps the stranger could help her find her way out of the wood and into an open landscape she could better navigate, rather than allowing the cast shadows with the small crack of moonlight guide her. She remained hesitant for a moment her paws shifting slightly during her internal debate, all the while reminding herself she could defend herself if they wished to cause her harm.

After a drawn out debate she finally gave herself the encouragement to speak up. “Hello?” She spoke in light tones that couldn’t mask her confusion very well as she stepped into a better view of the other. His darker pelt masked him more in this light but she still managed to make out a few of his features. “Do you know how to get out of here? It is rather dark, shouldn’t you be some place for the evening?” Her tones weren't harsh but perhaps rather blunt even she knew it was good to be cautious at night one could trip over something and hurt themselves what good would a predator be that couldn’t catch prey?
