I am still wondering why this track thing is an issue I know we haven't been pulling as long as some but this has been in the rule book as long as we have been pulling. As for other types of pulling the tracks are different everywhere for instance indoor Louisville track is approximately 245-250 ft and outdoors can be 300+ with the full pull being set in mid class or otherwise a floating finish. We have posted track length and stated there will be sleds which top out at appropriate time just like other pulls through the year. This is not a rule it is an option in the rule book that has been here for years and it is your option to pull at these events or not. There is no need for us to only have one size track over another it again is an option that has always been there.
