The Grotto
Disaster has struck!

Caution marked his every step the further he got into the Grotto. Something about the clinging nature of the darkness and the murky feeling that haunted his every step made Thor feel like this would be the perfect hideout for any predator or otherwise that wanted to toy with his bones and flesh. He wasn't scared though. Thor had always been quite fearless, even as a pup. He respected the danger, but he wouldn't run from it. He would just survive, for Samia's sake. She needed him, now more than ever and he would be there for her, no matter what it took. Samia would probably like to come here some day, speaking of. He kept seeing different herbs and plants along the way and that tended to be her favorite thing. She'd always liked to dig up plants and see what they could do. She wanted to be a healer. Thor was proud of her, but he didn't have to get it. They were just plants to him and he intended to help the pack physically, though battle. Whatever the female was doing, she sure looked proud of what she had accomplished. He couldn't make out much in the darkness, but from what he could see, her white fur was practically electric with eager energy, like she'd just invented something. All he could see was funny mushrooms and some dank moss but to each, their own. He was mostly worried about her safety. Surely she knew what liked to hang out in the dark. When she was done with whatever it was she was doing, she took a seat as if she'd decided she would just stay here. In the end, he figured that might be best. He would really have to stalk her if she decided to head back home now in the middle of the night. Surely the predators would follow the stench of those nasty plants she seemed to like so much. He moved slowly when he went to approach her, wanting her to know that he meant no harm. She was quite a pretty creature, especially when she took him in and then grinned. He felt a returning grin tugging at his own lips as he paused and tilted his head, raising a brow at her words. "YOU SPEAK OF HEALING AND DEATH IN THE SAME SENTENCE AS IF THEY GO TOGETHER. I DIDN'T KNOW BEING A HEALER MEANT HAVING SUCH DIVERSE TALENTS. MAYBE I SHOULD BE WARY OF MY OWN SISTER IF THIS IS THE PATH SHE CHOOSES." He let out a dry chuckle, his green eyes glowing with amusement at the thought of Samia talking of deadly mushrooms. It was like a dream gone south. She then admitted that she knew of the monsters but hadn't seen any. She made it seem like she came out a lot at night. Thor didn't know whether to pity or admire her. She must be quite brave or just asking for a bad night. Either way, he couldn't help but smile gently when she spoke of being lucky. She gave her name as Jubilee. "I AM CALLED THOR. IF YOU ARE LUCKY, THEN I GUESS I MIGHT STICK CLOSE FOR TONIGHT...FOR MY OWN PROTECTION, OF COURSE." His lips tugged into a teasing smirk, ears pricked forward as he glanced again at the mushrooms she was so proud of. "SO TELL ME, WHAT USE DOES A HEALER HAVE FOR DEADLY MUSHROOMS? SOMEONE HOLDING A GRUDGE?" Thor male.four year old.36in, 145#.born to NatuxFenrir.sibling to Samia.bound to none.mated to none.father to none.Glorall |
