Glorall

Disaster has struck!
Flooding from the north has taken its toll on Glorall. The large tides combined with the increase in water draining from the Ruieze River has flooded the lower regions of the pack. The sandy soil, compounded with so much water, has toppled a lot of trees. Traveling is difficult even when the water is shallower, with the sandy soil below being difficult to find traction on. The daily tides seem to keep the level of flooding fairly consistent, too.

During the low tide, wolves may be able to move around the higher dunes (with some difficulty) but during high tide, the pack is almost impossible to safely navigate. Swimming is possible, but the risk of currants and surges from either the ocean or the river are very real. The island off of the coast of Glorall is untouched by either issue, although it is incredibly difficult to find your way there without being an adept swimmer with plenty of good luck!

Note: Glorall will reopen once 30 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes. Glorall is currently not open for challenges.

The sound of his howl immediately makes me perk up, my ears pricking despite the flopiness of my right ear. A budding smile perches on my lips as I set down the gathering I had acquired, plants too delicate to leave out to the harshness of the heat. The shade would protect them from damage and I was careful when digging and plucking to not damage them. Healing wasn't just about my knowledge but also a bunch of other factors - the sweetness of fresh buds and the ripeness of roots. But whatever was about to happen was way more important than my gathering. I had PLENTY of time for that because I suspected this was going to be too good to pass up. Something along the lines of my eager monologue to Alistair about possibly having a sister in law soon.

Thor hadn't really told me about her but that didn't matter. I smelled her on him all the time and he took to disappearing more frequently than usual. More than just 'training' for his task for Eden. So I took off at an eager lope and weave through the woodland on spiretly toes until I see him on the beech... and a GIRL!

Judging by the grin on his face and the giddiness that seems to surround them I know, instinctively what has happened. With a sudden squeal of delight I race out towards them and straight for Inanna, grinning so broad it might split my face as I come to a less than graceful stop with little room between us and suddenly lift a leg to try and 'wrap' over her shoulders in a wolfish hug. "You must be my new sister!" There is such happiness in my voice that there is no mistaking me for anything but sincere. I pull back then and bounce to my brother, bumping my head into his cheek with a sweet grin, so very happy for him. "It is about time, brother! I was wondering how long it would take you," I scold in good nature before beaming back at Inanna. "Oh, you are so lovely," I say truthfully. "It is no wonder my brother has seemed so taken in his thoughts recently. I confess, I've been hoping he would tell me about you but you've been one tight lipped secret."
