Here… Here of all places he had followed the strange feeling he had since that day. That day when he was forced to go to the party that his brother bailed and left him alone at. He wasn’t sure how Shem dodged out of that one, but Asriel knew since that day his soul was no longer just his own. He had been told about imprints, he thought this was it, he didn’t tell his mom, and he hadn’t seen either of his parents since he turned too and vanished into the wilds so that he could… experiment… he only did it cause he wanted to know who he was, figure out what he was. He was quickly finding out his originally soft heart had slowly turned dark and hard. That had happened ever since his sister had been taken from him. It was surprising though that he was here, standing on the beaches of his father’s land if felt… right. More right than being within the forest any longer though if that was because of the girl or because part of his blood belonged to the seaside pack.
Because his father ruled here Asriel invited himself in crossing over the borders with ease. He wondered if his father would show up. Curious to see why his son was here and not in Taviora. He wasn’t sure about much of anything regarding his father, not anymore at least. He knew his father was strong, was very intelligent, but his father was almost the antithesis of his mother. Where she was loving and open with everything, he was more controlled, secretive. He wasn’t sure if his father did it on purpose, and Asriel wasn’t sure if he ‘loved’ even his mother anymore. He wasn’t sure what type of feeling he had towards her. He was certain he used to feel the love and devotion to her but now? Such feelings seemed to get him burned. Then why was he following this bond?
Asriel felt usure of that… that might have been why he was here to figure out if he should try to break this connection or allow it to remain. After all he never wanted to hurt like he had when his sister died, that feeling, that all consuming anguish broke the soft hearted boy somehow. He knew his brother and sister were not always the nicest to him back then, but they were his siblings and he was attached all the same. He searched the pack for the girl, or his father, whoever he ran into first. He didn’t even know the girl’s name just that this feeling brought him here and now Asriel would find out what they were to each other. Honestly, he hoped nothing, but he had to know what weakness she opened up and see how to patch it if needed.
