Grey pillars carried the vixen straight from her whereabouts down to the lake. Today was the day she'd have some one on one time with some of her pack members. Not all of them but she definitely needed time with two of them. Milo had thought long and hard about ranks and she decided at least two of them were ready for higher ranks. One she was hoping to meet with here, today, right now. The fae's tail curled up out of habit; swaying above her back in a cheerful manner as she made her way down to the lake. Step by step. Paw by paw. As she did make it down, her head instantly dipped for her maw to touch the water, her tongue sticking out of her mouth to curl water into it, over and over and over again until her the parchness of her throat was quenched with the cooling liquid.
When she was finally finished with her little drink; Milo looked up and around her, staying alert. Ears moving in different places to listen for sounds of anyone or anything. It wasn't long before rustling caught her attention; a rabbit jumping out. A smile gracing the arctic queens muzzle as she watched the little helpless thing. Knowing that if she were to hunt it; it wouldn't have a chance against her or anyone else for that matter. She was small for a reason, not just because she was an arctic wolf. But also because it helped her hunt more things. Sure she needed help on big game but that was alright
Rump hitting the sand beneath her, she watched the little rabbit as her tail curled close to her and her eyes watched and then scanned for a split second. She didn't know how long she was gonna have to wait but she didn't mind. There was plenty of time.
