Ithiel had a lot to think about as They left the mountain peak. There was that chance to get Their twin back, and that was weighing so heavy on Ithiel's mind. Enough that Ithiel was going to try to complete this quest that They had been sent out on. It wasn't something that Ithiel wanted to do for the simple sake that doing this was not suppost to be some kind of goal in any way. This wasn't something that Ithiel wanted to go out and do by finding a target and going for it, not really. That was something that was more offered up and persued upon interest. But this? This was different. That was not the case in this instance, and Ithiel was feeling mixed on the entire matter. Mixed, yes, but it was still something that Ithiel was going to try for the sake of Their brother.
Of being around him again, because Ithiel has no real memories of that. Nothing solid to hold onto, and it stings. There would always be that emptiness that was there, settled within Ithiel and making Ithy remember just what was wrong, what was missing in Their life. There was no way around it, nothing else Ithiel could do. They had been the one to make the choice to go up on that mountain and ask for this. To find out that it was possible, and there was that one thing that They had to do first. Who knew how far Ithiel was willing to go to do it? Ithiel didn't even know the answer to that question, which should be a cause for alarm. But the rewards if it was completed was too much to walk away from. Ithy couldn't do it.
And so Ithiel went to work to sort all of this out. There was a lot of things that Ithiel had to do before trying to approach this person. First off, They had to find out who they were. A name to go with the whole cop and where from bit. That was going to take a little bit of time, and Ithiel needed to get to it. So Ithy did. They went to the castle, knowing that was where this cop was stationed. From there it was a series of finding out more information about the person from Xara, the once cop. Eventually Ithiel was able to find out the name needed: Caldera. And then that she was a alliance guard in the castle. What she looked like, because Ithiel asked for someone to point her out from a distance -- so Ithy wouldn't be seen when this was done -- and anything else that might come in handy.
That had taken some sacrifices and some romps, but eventually Ithiel had enough to go on that made Ithy think that going as a male was going to be the best bet. And depending on how the guy on the mountain saw things, probably the most valid. Maybe. Either way, Ithiel was feeling a little more ready to go and attempt meeting this Caldera. Except there was one more thing that Ithiel wanted to do before doing that. Which was go and inquire on certain potions that might help with the whole frigid issue that They had been warned about. It wouldn't do any good for Ithiel to get there and not have a little bit of help with the matter. Ithiel already didn't want to do this, but the reward for it was going to be worth it. Had to be worth it.
Ithiel was able to hunt down someone that had what they were looking for. A step up, but there was only so far that Ithiel would go. Which is why They did not buy the love potion thing. That was too far, in Ithiel's opinion. No, couldn't do that, could they? So Ithiel simply bought the sexual magnetism potion, tucked it away, and went to go get some rest before returning to the castle to seek out the target. A restless sort of night, but eventually Ithiel did get to sleep, and was able to get up and get ready; dressing for the occasion and getting ready for the day. Ithiel was nervous, but didn't allow that to show as they went to the castle. They knew when there would be breaks and days off, and now to put all that They had found out to use.
Ithiel downed the potion and let it sink in, adjusting to the fact that this was really what Ithiel was trying to do. Then Ithiel went to go find Caldera. It was time to see what could be done on this quest. Yes, there was still so much going on within Ithiel's mind, but the main thing was how much Ithiel wanted to see Their brother. To know who he was, what kind of person he was and how life had been for him so far. To find out what had happened that had caused him to be snatched away from Ithiel so long ago. Or it felt like a long time to Ithiel. How could it not with how his absence made Ithiel feel so empty and alone? This was pushed from Ithiel's mind when They saw Caldera, and so Ithiel started towards her with a confident stride and friendly smile.
