Misty Mountain is opposite of Rainbow Cliff. Mists hover year-round at this high altitude, mistaken by some to be thin clouds. Thin layers of snow cover the mountain, making some areas slippery and hazardous.

Some think it romantic, a place to bring their mates, while others come to play and romp. However, all must agree that there is some level of mystery and spookiness hovering about with the mists...

Was it okay to say that the mostly gray lady was lost? Well, if a loner on the move could ever really be lost that is. The full grown wolfess found herself looking around the strange place. Well technically everything was new to her, Pepper had only recently arrived at this prey filled place. Ha! That was a joke, at least in this current part she found herself in.

Gold colored orbs have been on the lookout for easy prey all morning. Perhaps she should head back to where the grass grew high? The rocky terrain she found herself exploring had caused her to give up on finding food anytime soon. There was nothing around this place small enough for her to safely take on. Still she kept traveling on, her gray and black sprinkled front pillars leading the way. The large mountain in the distance was calling to her, beckoning her to come explore. Like a drowning sailor, she followed the siren call to the skyscraper looming before her.

Her mood wasn’t exactly high now because of how her day was going. White towers were pulled back against her head, her black muzzle was nearly touching the ground, which was about as high as her white tipped tail was. It was clear that the huntress wasn’t exactly pleased. There was the smell of other wolves around here, but none had come forward to bother her. And she really did mean bother, because the lass wasn’t exactly comfortable socializing with others.

She found herself circling close to the large rock formation, looking for a safe trail that would take her higher. Pepper was so busy looking down that she wasn’t paying attention to what was in front of her. A big mistake, because if the brute before her didn’t move in time then she would have bumped into him. Her gray head probably would have made contact with his hindquarter closest to her. Whether she did actually hit him or not, her head would have popped up to look at the ivory colored titan in brief shock. A step back would have been taken even as her maw parted. Excuse me…sorry…um… Words slowly cascaded out, the sound smooth like running water. It was obvious that she was at a loss on what else to say.

Her ears went against her head in embarrassment. Pepper wasn’t sure what else to say, part of her wanted to scurry off. At the thought, her gaze glanced to the side, almost like she was looking for an escape route. Should she run? Hopefully he wouldn’t start yelling at her, or worse attack her for the accident. This was why she didn’t bother being social, it always led to problems. Not that she would really know, she never had been social to begin with.
