Fir Chilis is the name given to the dense string of forested land that fills much of Blossom Forest. There are two different populations, depending on where in the land you are. To the north lays the deciduous forest, full of maples, oaks, birches, and beeches. To the south lay a coniferous forest full of pines and firs. No matter where you are, the trees shelter you from the sun and the rain and the snow. Take care not to get lost in the woods however - you may never find your way out. There are other dangerous here too - predators waiting for their own prey. While the land is prosperous they do not pose too much of a threat, but whenever famine or drought hits, they will attack anything... even other Putnar.

Those looking to hunt will find the forests well stocked - there are white-tailed deer, turkeys, red squirrels, chipmunks, mermots, and moose.

Lost in the Echo

Test My Will, Test My Heart

The female was still adjusting to her new life as a tempest, something that she never really believed in until she went through the change personally and saw the physical world around her change. Feeling the earth physically move and change was both terrifying and exciting at the same time. Magic was definitely back, there was no question. For years she had thought there was no such thing, that it was all silly stories that mothers told to their pups. But it appeared that everything she had been told was real. Adara needed some time to collect her thoughts, away from her nephew even though she knew he would need her to help cope with the changes he himself was going through. Her paws carried her through the trees with no purpose or direction, and she just let her mind wander, letting it relax from everything that had happened.

As the silvery femme wandered, she found herself getting deeper and deeper into the foliage. She had not noticed from the change in light as she normally would. Adara was still adjusting to the changes her body had undergone, including her eye site. The femme had always had blue eyes, just like her father, but now they were an unnatural electric blue that allowed her to have excellent vision in the dark. She was not bothered by where she was though, and so she continued on. She was surprised after some time to notice that there was another varg nearby. She knew there was a chance that this brute had come out here to be alone, but she decided to chance it and say hello.

Adara had always been a friendly wolf, and her plume wagged behind her as she said hello. When she did, she noticed that he reacted in an unsure way, his form stiff for a moment. He looked her over, trying to determine if she was hostile or not, and she kept the smile on her features to let her know that she was of no threat. After a moment he too relaxed and spoke. “Hello friend. You're the first I've seen in these woods. I'm Harlow, who are you?" The male had padded closer, but not too close, just enough to have a comfortable. Adara took a step forward herself, letting him know she was not one opposed to close contact. There was something particularly striking about the male, and she couldn’t take her eyes off him it seemed. ”Hello Harlow. My name is Adara, it is very nice to meet you. I hope I was not interrupting anything.” She cocked her head to the side briefly, unsure if her presence was annoying or unwanted.
