Lullaby of the Crucified - " />

Malignant Felicity is a paradisaical abode to the faithful remains of a mighty pack. Once ruled by the magnificent wolf Genocide, now the wolves of this pack follow the laws of the Alpha Lance, son of Sorna, Beta and Genocide's best friend...

The sounds of crashing water fill your auds as you enter this tropical paradise. The tall trunks tower above you. The treetop canopy's seem to shade the beautiful land from the sun's rays. What a paradise this place seems. This place dubbed Malignant Felicity. As you draw closer to the boarders a stench slowly devours the air around you. The stench of death.

"Beware..." scream the birds from above you. "She kills for games. She kills for fun." Something deep inside tells you to listen. Your body tells you not to go no further. Do you listen or do you dare move into the pack borders. This could be a life or death decision...

Follow the Queen, or become a corpse that lines her border. The choice lies with you.

a vexatious kiss

Shadows danced across the dark marshy lands and among them the young princess pranced and bounced to the rhythm of the pulsating shades. The beat to which she danced was not truly a sound but the rather the form and shape of the land; one misstep could land her within the murky depths and drowning in her own home. It was so oddly satisfying to her that she lived on this precipice of death and danger under the presumption that this was home. Home usually meant safety and protection, but here within the confines of Caidir Olc, there was the potential for death. It was only all the more dangerous at night when the shadows created false images of safe landings, with only subtle hints of the fact that if anyone was to step there, they would surely drown. The darkly hued princess had learned to read this land and its cues, ensuring that she would not fall victim to its gaping jaws. Her mother, Lucaya had chosen a place very fitting for the majority of its members, the vampires like herself. For those who had not changed or had chosen the place for its dark nature rather than the wolves within it, it was not that they couldn’t survive, but the land posed a greater threat to them in the darkness because they could not see like her.

Glowing orbs of blood stared straight ahead of her, seeing the strange white she-wolf long before she herself could be seen. Diosa could not be scented because she did not have one, giving her an immaculate ability to stay hidden easily. If she trained herself she could become invisible in this place and anywhere she so desired. She was painted for the night, only the glimmer of the dew on her pelt gave away her dancing figurine.

The moon this night was only slightly obscured by the wispy clouds that slowly traced through the sky, but what light it did give off did not penetrate through the foliage of the packland. And though she was at the advantage to this new wolf, Diosa did not really think to take advantage of this. Her innocence was only blurred by the hunger that was gnawing away at her stomach, but even then she still feared the darker beast that resided within herself. She kept it contained, but soon enough she would have to give into this guilt but absolute necessity. She wondered sometimes if she would ever learn to love it or would she continually hate it about herself? Only time would truly tell. For now Diosa was content to meet someone outside of the pack. She sniffed at the air that wafted her way from the stranger. It was sweet in a feminine way, but she was distinctly tainted with another pack’s scent. And Diosa was still clueless to the world outside of her home. Caidir Olc was all she had ever known, but this did not diminish the maturity she had developed. The ivoress before her smiled at the formal introduction, slightly impressed it seemed. Hello Diosa, it’s nice to meet you. My name is Khaleesi, I’m from a pack called Dierne Hrof. I came here on behalf of my alpha, Aindreas, to see what changes have happened to your pack. Dierne Hrof changed drastically, so we wanted to scout out the rest of the packs. Do you remember if your home changed recently?

Diosa cocked her head, pinnae tilted forward listening to each word that the lady spoke. Luminous orbs of scarlet watched, filled only with curious interest. They did not belay the fact that she could hear the steady beat of the others heart beat and pulsating rush of blood through veins. Dierne Hrof? Diosa tested the name on her tongue, You must have traveled an awful long ways miss Khaleesi, hopefully with little trouble. And you haven’t managed to fall into the traps of Caidir Olc yet so that’s good! Diosa smiled at the other lady, happy to being making a new friend. Diosa, unlike most of her kind it seemed, rather enjoyed the company of normal wolves not because of the feeding aspect but because sometimes she wanted to feel as though maybe she was normal. It made her forget the darker beast that was inside of her. I don’t really remember much, honestly, I sleep an awful lot during the day cause the light hurts my eyes. I could die if I was out in the daylight. What’s your pack like? Do you have any vampires or are all of you normal wolves? Diosa’s mind slowly started to build up questions, as she realized how little she actually knew about anything other than her own pack and her breed. She didn’t really know anything of normal wolves the more she thought about it. What is it like being normal? The question blurted out of her mouth without a second thought and her cheeks flamed with embarrassment, Sorry that was rude of me to ask… She looked at the ground watching a small bug crawl slowly before her, before she looked back up to Khaleesi and small embarrassed smile crossing her features.
