Glorall

Disaster has struck!
Flooding from the north has taken its toll on Glorall. The large tides combined with the increase in water draining from the Ruieze River has flooded the lower regions of the pack. The sandy soil, compounded with so much water, has toppled a lot of trees. Traveling is difficult even when the water is shallower, with the sandy soil below being difficult to find traction on. The daily tides seem to keep the level of flooding fairly consistent, too.

During the low tide, wolves may be able to move around the higher dunes (with some difficulty) but during high tide, the pack is almost impossible to safely navigate. Swimming is possible, but the risk of currants and surges from either the ocean or the river are very real. The island off of the coast of Glorall is untouched by either issue, although it is incredibly difficult to find your way there without being an adept swimmer with plenty of good luck!

Note: Glorall will reopen once 30 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes. Glorall is currently not open for challenges.

His sister turns towards him with a derisive look on her face that almost mimics the ones given to him by Umbra, yet he senses she is not as opposed to him as his other half sister. Truth be told, he couldn’t stand Umbra. She basked in the glow of Underidge’s approval and while Blackthorne was not jealous of it, he thought her quite insane to be so blinded by their fathers teachings. The Shade Indeed, he thinks with a mental scoff. It was true - there WAS weakness in this world, but it came more from the mind than from the body, though that certainly could be used to ones advantage. Underidge lacked intiative - he lacked AMBITION. It must have skipped a generation for it settled like a mantle around his obsidian shoulders. “Hmm, perhaps,” he answers cryptically at her snide comment, not playing into whatever game she wants to. Not yet, anyways, despite just how FUN games could be. A smirk settles on his muzzle, familiar and cocky.

“But perhaps it is better for you to vent your frustrations to the very thing causing them, no? The ocean might not care what you have to say.” There is a teasing meanness to his words that mirrors her own, his charcoal eyes fastened upon her. Those same eyes harden at her words. “It makes me better. Underidge is a fool. It is commendable to have such belief, I guess, but what does he do with such a power? Nothing. He squats in that nasty den with his filthy body and does nothing until the supposed Shade tells him to, then he orders you to do the same. I would not be led by some false prophet when I can blaze my own path.” Now his smirk becomes a grin, full of wicked promise. “There is much to be gained here that others ignore, but I won’t. So tell me, sister,” and that word is biased as he takes a slight step forward, “what do YOU believe?”
