Romance is in the air...this is probably the most beautiful and scenic place in Blossom Forest. For the athletic and determined to come with their mates, for time away from pups. Only adults may come here; some of the ledges are too far apart for teens or pups to cross and some too high to scale.

Only You Are the Life Among the Dead  |
_________________________________________________________________________ Once more the weather was changing seasons, the air growing colder as winter began to take its turn on the lands. With each passing day it seemed that the air grew colder and snow was more and more likely to fall. So far none had, but the female knew it was inevitable. There had never been a winter pass without multiple snow falls, and Khaleesi could only assume that the same thing would happen this year as well. Even though the snow had not yet occurred, it didn’t mean that it wouldn’t. She was looking forward to the snow too. While some hated it with all the cold that was needed, she loved the cold and the snow. Her snow white pelt always grew in thick and heavy, and kept her dry and warm throughout the winter. Even though she had not been a pup for some time, she always looked forward to playing in the snow. Sometimes she wished she had some young of her own, or even some pups in the pack, for her to play with. But she did not see any pups in her immediate future. Khaleesi had not yet found a mate, and she would not birth any young willingly without one, and with the winter season already upon them she knew she would not have pups, at least not this year. Khaleesi was surprised to find herself thinking about pups as she wandered through the trees alone. She had never really thought about being a mother, but she had been fully grown for some time now. She could have already had multiple litters by now, and yet she had not even had one. The femme shook her head at the thought, not very concerned if she would ever be a mother or not. Green orbs focused on her surroundings, the thick patch of trees that she had wandered off to. It was very quiet for the moment, many of the birds left for the season and the rest of the mammals either hibernating or hiding from the lupines and other predators that wandered through these forests. Her orbs lit up when she saw the swirling signs of snow in the air. It was not yet sticking to the ground or the trees, but she knew this was the first sign that the snow that would stick and accumulate would be here soon. A smile appeared on her kissers as she continued her aimless wanderings. There was the strong scent of other wolves nearby, but for now she kept to herself, waiting to see if there was anyone that she knew or would come and say hello. All of a sudden there was a loud explosion that tore through the sky, making the femme instantly stop in her tracks. Everything in her body was on high alert, her audettes perked as she looked around, frantically trying to figure out what had made such a loud sound. Green orbs widened when she saw a huge burst of light, but she quickly had to avert her gaze, it was painfully bright to look at. There was a sudden burst of power that flowed and waved through the forest, and through her, knocking the breath out of her as she collapsed to the ground, unconscious to the world around her, not knowing the power of what was happening around her. The female’s bodice fell to the ground as she lost consciousness, never imaging that her walk through the woods would lead to such an event. But did anyone in the area know that such magic was lingering, ready to explode and burst at any time? Khaleesi sure did not.
