Enocra Woodland

Pine, spruce and firs alike...
Dense coniferous forests cover the woodlands, with clearings, paths and the occasional wildberry shrub throughout. Pine, spruce and fir make up much of the forest in the east, with the forest becoming swampier in the west towards Mecor Valley. In the west, cypress trees dominate, with fallen trees creating bridges across and throughout the stillwaters.

He had seen death in many forms since he left Moladian and none of it seemed to phase him. He had seen all sorts of wolves do all sorts of crazy things from rape to slaughter and then he'd heard the cries and pleas of their victims looking to him for help. But he'd stood frozen and watched them all die. It was like standing in a massive graveyard of bones, just staring into their empty eyes and only seeing an empty void where there should have been light and life. They'd tried to get his opinion on it, try to make him either help them or stop them, but he didn't do either. Instead he watched with a blunt fascination that soon turned to boredom when all was said and done. He had far away dreams of the graveyard when he closed his eyes. All he saw was empty eyes and blood. Always so much blood. It always confused him cause he didn't know how empty bodies and bones had so much blood.

He figured the tie to his family here in Moladian had to mean something because why else would he see their empty eyes staring at him every night when he closed his own eyes? It was like they were calling him back and he heeded the call, but still wasn't quite sure why he came. He felt he needed closure or something but he wasn't sure what he'd say to Enderly when he saw him. Enderly wasn't a bad father or anything, but he had his own motives, that much was clear. Something told Loki that he had loved his mother, but he wasn't outright affectionate with them. But was it love or just a need to possess something completely? He used to get so angry and jealous of Eris and Loki didn't understand it. Even of them, it seemed. He wanted her all to himself with no one else in between. Was Loki supposed to feel like that about someone?

He'd tried once with a female who called herself Rayne. She was pretty enough, he guessed, and she told him that she liked him. He was only two at the time, or was it three? She licked him and told him he would be her mate some day and he didn't deny it. He decided to play along, to see how this whole mate thing worked, but when she said she wanted children and wanted to....well, do things that showed him how much he meant to her, he did the only thing he could do. He played along...until accidents were made and blood was spilled and she screamed and he felt....powerful. There was no other way to describe it. Flesh tore beneath his fangs and she freaked out but it only drove him on more. Why did she cry? Didn't she feel it? Finally, some kind of emotion! He was so elated that he just went with it, like he did everything else. He just played along.

Right up until she stopped moved and jerking and her eyes were as empty as the ones in his dreams. Then he gave her one last lick, cause it seemed the thing to do, and left. He never looked back, just went to a stream to wash off and then continued walking. He never tried the whole possession thing again. It only seemed to end one way, at least for him. He knew he was getting closer to the borders of Diveen. He could smell them from here, but there was still no sign of Enderly. Still he waited, his patience near invincible. His ears twitched toward the sound of a rock being kicked, his blank gaze turning to settle on a young pup, barely two, wandering in his direction. He sniffed the air and something hit a chord. Enderly? Faint but it was there. On the pup, mixed but a part of him. His brows furowed thoughtfully. He could sense a tension in the boy, something making him wary. It didn't bother Loki. He was here for Enderly, so why was the boy here instead?

When the boy looked up, Loki surveyed his scarred eye with a calculating gaze. He wondered if it bled a lot when it happened. How much blood could his little body hold? But then the boy was talking, asking why he was calling his dad. He must mean Enderly. So the player had moved on from Eris. Of course, because the boy didn't smell like her. His head tilted to the side. "I wanted to see Enderly. You smell of him. He must have fucked someone else and made another litter." There was no bitterness in his tone, only a matter of fact way of stating it as he continued to watch the boy, waiting.
