Glorall

Disaster has struck!
Flooding from the north has taken its toll on Glorall. The large tides combined with the increase in water draining from the Ruieze River has flooded the lower regions of the pack. The sandy soil, compounded with so much water, has toppled a lot of trees. Traveling is difficult even when the water is shallower, with the sandy soil below being difficult to find traction on. The daily tides seem to keep the level of flooding fairly consistent, too.

During the low tide, wolves may be able to move around the higher dunes (with some difficulty) but during high tide, the pack is almost impossible to safely navigate. Swimming is possible, but the risk of currants and surges from either the ocean or the river are very real. The island off of the coast of Glorall is untouched by either issue, although it is incredibly difficult to find your way there without being an adept swimmer with plenty of good luck!

Note: Glorall will reopen once 30 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes. Glorall is currently not open for challenges.

She had left her siblings behind or rather, she had begun lost before she had discovered the excitement of being alone. They had been exploring the world beyond their mother's den when she had found herself suddenly at the bottom of a slope without Lethe or Obsidian; at first she had called out for her siblings (she saved her mother for last) but they were nowhere to be found. How long had she been there for? Somebody whispered that it hadn't been long - make the best of it.

She righted herself and clambered out into the open from the underbrush she had been hidden in. She still hadn't a clue how she had ended up there but for now, it didn't matter: somebody was above her now. It didn't take her long to see he wasn't any of her kin - grey. She thought he looked funny looking. Why settle for half of black? Still, she had been staring at him long enough. He didn't even seem to notice with his head craned back. She pouted. How hadn't he noticed her?

With that, she bounded two strides up the incline with a sharp bark and furrowed brows. Who did he think he was up there? If didn't pay attention to her now...well, she wasn't sure what she would have to do to him!
