Glorall

Disaster has struck!
Flooding from the north has taken its toll on Glorall. The large tides combined with the increase in water draining from the Ruieze River has flooded the lower regions of the pack. The sandy soil, compounded with so much water, has toppled a lot of trees. Traveling is difficult even when the water is shallower, with the sandy soil below being difficult to find traction on. The daily tides seem to keep the level of flooding fairly consistent, too.

During the low tide, wolves may be able to move around the higher dunes (with some difficulty) but during high tide, the pack is almost impossible to safely navigate. Swimming is possible, but the risk of currants and surges from either the ocean or the river are very real. The island off of the coast of Glorall is untouched by either issue, although it is incredibly difficult to find your way there without being an adept swimmer with plenty of good luck!

Note: Glorall will reopen once 30 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes. Glorall is currently not open for challenges.

She looked friendly enough though he didn't really meet any unfriendly wolves in Glorall. At least he hadn't yet. She gave a smile and he found it easy to return, listening as she greeted him and said that Triton wasn't a liar. He chuckled before shaking his head. "You're absolutely right there. He doesn't know how to lie. Sometimes he's a little too honest for his own good." He smirked good naturedly as he thought of his son. He never thought of himself and how he'd be as a father before but now that he was one, he couldn't be happier.

She nodded her head that she was raised here in Glorall, naming her father as Underidge and asking if he knew him. Thor smiled sheepishly before shaking his head. "Afraid I don't but that's probably more my own fault than anyone else's. I do know of him as a loyal wolf to Glorall and Eden." He wondered what she might mean by saying he was unique. Just the way she said it emphasized that it definitely had meaning. Brushing his curiosity aside for now, he offered a friendly smile. "Well, I'm certainly glad I got to meet you, Matianak. And I'm sure Triton will be gushing about his encounter the next time I see him. He doesn't meet a lot of new faces so thank you for taking the time out for him." His eyes gleamed in gratitude.

"Do you have plans of your own in Glorall? I'd hate to be keeping you up or anything." He shot her an apologetic look. She might have been going somewhere when he caught her on the beach. What if she was on an important mission and he was messing it up?
