He was glad to finally have a job again. Even if his main goal wasn't to fight or bully others, he could still work with being a thief. In fact, he was in the mood to try some kidnapping again, just to ruffle a few feathers. He loved doing that. He was happy that his sister had decided to come to Asteraia. At least now he would know she was safe. Between her and Belhara, he was sure he would stay busy keeping an eye on them. Maybe it wasn't his responsibility to watch over Kattari but since she didn't have a mate to do it for her, he felt it his obligation so she would have to deal with it.
He knew there would be other pack wolves out and about and he had no doubt some would have an opinion on wolves that climb trees. It seemed everywhere he went, there was someone doubtful or curious of his talent. He was trying to teach Belhara but the woman was stubborn and though she may be the picture of grace on the ground, up in a tree, she was anything but. He loved her anyway. That word still felt foreign in his head, on his tongue, but he'd never felt anything like it before. He had a need to possess her like his life depended on it. She was HIS and no one would touch her. No one but him. If he so much as saw a male look at her the wrong way, he would have their throat. He tried to train his instincts but something about being close to her only made him feel more feral, closer to bursting like a bomb.
He smelled another and glanced down, his blue eyes honed in on the smaller figure coming to the base of the tree. Recognizing the younger wolf from the pack meeting, he wagged his tail in greeting and tilted his head, one brow lifting in curiosity. At the boy's question, he smirked. "I taught myself as a pup. Call it boredom or ambition. It comes in handy for hunting those of a more intelligent species than a simple deer or rabbit." Standing, he stretched before leaping down to land gracefully next to the male. "Do you want to learn?"
