Glorall

Disaster has struck!
Flooding from the north has taken its toll on Glorall. The large tides combined with the increase in water draining from the Ruieze River has flooded the lower regions of the pack. The sandy soil, compounded with so much water, has toppled a lot of trees. Traveling is difficult even when the water is shallower, with the sandy soil below being difficult to find traction on. The daily tides seem to keep the level of flooding fairly consistent, too.

During the low tide, wolves may be able to move around the higher dunes (with some difficulty) but during high tide, the pack is almost impossible to safely navigate. Swimming is possible, but the risk of currants and surges from either the ocean or the river are very real. The island off of the coast of Glorall is untouched by either issue, although it is incredibly difficult to find your way there without being an adept swimmer with plenty of good luck!

Note: Glorall will reopen once 30 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes. Glorall is currently not open for challenges.

Eira was running along the beach today. It was a pretty summer day, and now that she had discovered the source and even learned to swim in it, it was hard to stay away. The sand was irritating at times, so much to the point that it aggravated her eczema. One would think that would deter her, but she was a stubborn girl. Besides, the water was way too much fun to avoid over some excessive itching. The sand was irrelevant with that mindset.

The brown and white girl trotted up a dune and raced down it. Her mis-matched eyes lit up with glee as a shriek of laughter escaped her as she stumbled over her own somewhat oversized paws and rolled down it. It wasn't long before she righted herself, pausing mid way through getting to her feet again to get in a good scratch behind her ears. It was a bit much, a little bit of her fur floating away as she did. Not that she cared. Some where disgusted by her patches, though sometimes they weren't so bad or irritating, so she really didn't care... yet.

Eira thought she had heard a voice in the distance. But she didn't see anyone, so she stood up and shook out her fur of some of the stand and once again sat, itching her chest momentarily. Once she felt that was good and satisfied, she was back to her paws and padding along again, moving towards the water so it would lap over her paws. The young pup remained blissfully unaware of Triton moving in her general direction.
