Glorall

Disaster has struck!
Flooding from the north has taken its toll on Glorall. The large tides combined with the increase in water draining from the Ruieze River has flooded the lower regions of the pack. The sandy soil, compounded with so much water, has toppled a lot of trees. Traveling is difficult even when the water is shallower, with the sandy soil below being difficult to find traction on. The daily tides seem to keep the level of flooding fairly consistent, too.

During the low tide, wolves may be able to move around the higher dunes (with some difficulty) but during high tide, the pack is almost impossible to safely navigate. Swimming is possible, but the risk of currants and surges from either the ocean or the river are very real. The island off of the coast of Glorall is untouched by either issue, although it is incredibly difficult to find your way there without being an adept swimmer with plenty of good luck!

Note: Glorall will reopen once 30 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes. Glorall is currently not open for challenges.

The strength of the imprint bond was something that at times she questioned. Why would the gods tie souls together... why not give them each one complete soul and be done with it... let them find their own hearts desire and make the choices themselves. It was confusing... but then, then she was with him... and that understanding began to grow. She needed him. Not in a romantic way mind you... but that part of her soul that belonged to him and his to her called to him when they were near one another. It was a bond that soothed all things and cured the ache that thrummed so strongly in her heart. His bright eyes and rougish smile warmed her in a way that even Dexter could not. It was a shared feeling that no one else would be able to comprehend. He grins at her and assures her that he will always be here for her and despite their differences in packs and lifestyles, Talien feels a sense of security in that. There is no doubt that he would indeed keep his word. She can feel it.

Despite the joy that thrummed through their bond, and the feel of the cold ocean waters as it washed over her toes and buried them deeper into the maluable sands, Talien can feel the concern and worry that crosses his face. His question is one that not even she knew the answer to. Was she happy in Taviora? Of course the forest was her home... it was where her pups were born and the forest ran strong through her blood... but what about her heart? She shakes her head and presses against him again, drawing comfort in the closeness and strength of his presence. "I don't know. Right now it hurts... unlike you, my love was not returned in the same manner I gave it.... my heart hurts... but Taviora is my home. It is where my own pups were born and the pack they have chosen to stay loyal to. Zelda is a great and wise leader and I would follow her into battle any day should the need ever arise...." she murmurs, drawing away from him again to let her gaze fixate upon him. "But it is hard... being in the same pack as the one who turned away my heart... the father of my children... but I must try." she finishes, with a sense of resolve to her words. It was not easy... but she had to do it.

As he turns the conversation to a lighter note, Talien cannot help but to light up at his mention of Inanna and their pup. She chuckles softly as he mentions their pup being almost two and shakes her own head, "Its hard to believe they grow up so fast! My own are two as well. Eztli and Nenetl are different as night and day but I am equally as proud of them both though Eztli has not had much to do with me... he grew closer to his father's mate since she too is mute from what I hear. She has helped him to cope. Nenetl though is strong girl... she has the makings of a great hunter." she says her own voice brimming with pride. It was hard to believe that two years had passed since last she had seen her imprint. The bond made it hard for them to ever truly be apart... no matter the distance she still felt him but here and now, it was nice to be able to catch up. Her silver white tail wags as she tilts her head towards him, a wide smile upon her lips. "I would love to meet him Thor... and to see Inanna again. Im sure she has some juicy stories to share about how much of a goofball you are when you think your being charming." she teases, stretching a forepaw out to nudge his shoulder playfully...
