Bright Moon - a land sullied by mystery and the ravaging scars of a terrible fire. Abandoned as a pack land for years, the terra has been used as a gathering place for the brazen and bloodthirsty drawn there by the lingering pall of death. Yet from the ashes there comes an unordained phoenix, the rainbow hues of hope glinting in her mismatched globes. Through the obsidian drapes obscuring the scenery, she alone was able to catch the perfumed aroma of new life on the breeze and hear the sluggish streams flowing ever swifter into the morning.

Thus, with a purpose, she set out to map the incognita, discovering daily the extent of the reawakening and unearthing within herself a desire to return the landscape to its former glory. Now she stands tall as privileged Alpha of the lands, lording over the rock-strewn prairie and bountiful forests with a firm but gentle paw.

Having finally realized her deepest longing to be a queen, Satowra is focused solely on the revival and maintenance of the Bright Moon Pack. Her question to each prospective warrior that comes to the border is simple:

"Do you have what it takes?"

now that i've become who i really am
i'm stronger than i've been before

They had been training, steadily getting Kari over her fear of water, fear of being drowned, fear of going through what she had when her mother had thrown her into a river and then been left to die because she could not do what she wanted. Kari had been working hard, learning to swim. She had done it, she was finally swimming, being agile in the water wasn't hard with how her body was structured. It was just about learning and training to do it. That's one of the activities they'd spent most of their time doing, aside from going back and forth at each other with snarky sarcastic remarks. But that was how Kari thrived, how she joked, how she really did anything. But, the ice king had then disappeared. Leaving her and his pack on their own, seemingly with no trace as to where he had gone or what he was doing. Not that it was Kari's business or anyone else's for that matter.

Kari had woken up, gone to their usual meeting spot which wasn't too far from her den as she had started sleeping closer to the water now. Wanting to be completely at one with it as she was on land. When she got there, she waited, and waited. Kari went in search of him without finding him, he'd disappeared, his scent had never left the territory from what she could gather though. But alas, she continued with her training on her own. Getting stronger in the water, stronger on land, and making her paws seemingly quiet on the sand. She was working at it more and more every day, pushing herself even more every day. Her muscles had started to grow again as she got stronger, being able to push herself through the water was quite the chore at first; now she did it with ease. Kari was graceful in the water now. It was thanks to Kershov that she had even gotten even slightly over her fear in the first place. But this, this she had done on her own. She had continued on her own, trying to become the best on her own

The stench of Athene and her pups had been all over the territory lately, Athene's especially near the border. Kari had been nice enough to stay out of the vixen's way. Keeping to her solitude and her training. Her coat shone under sunlight as the lass had stuck to fish lately; not wanting to bother any of the other pack members as she bettered herself. As she continued on her path to getting stronger. It happened to be that she was in the middle of her meal when the call rang out. Large ears swiveled behind her as she listened to it. Kershov? He was back? After these months of being gone? Nonetheless, the varg to her time in finishing her fish. Licking her chops clean and getting to her paws, stretching as she walked towards the sound of the call. Kari took her sweet time though, each muscle in each of her legs rippling under her coat as she walked. Though it wouldn't of taken her very long if she hadn't of been procrastinating responding to the call. It wasn't very like her to not immediately respond to the ice kings calls. But in part, she was upset he'd left everyone behind as if she and everyone in the pack had been nothing to him. Without them, he wouldn't have a pack to boss around really.

As the maned ess arrived, her eyes fell on Athene and her two pups first, silently she dipped her head to them. Walking over towards them but stopping a few feet away; plopping down onto her haunches. She hadn't even looked at Kershov. When she finally did, it was a daring stare at the feathered ice king. Kari had changed in the few months he had been gone, her muscles shone through her thin coat now though not as much as any male, enough that it still showed, showing that she had been working to get herself stronger.

"How nice of you to show your face finally, Kershov."

Sassy to say the least. At least her personality hadn't changed very much. Tone daring and everything, her orbs turned to stare the ice king down.
