Enocra Woodland

Pine, spruce and firs alike...
Dense coniferous forests cover the woodlands, with clearings, paths and the occasional wildberry shrub throughout. Pine, spruce and fir make up much of the forest in the east, with the forest becoming swampier in the west towards Mecor Valley. In the west, cypress trees dominate, with fallen trees creating bridges across and throughout the stillwaters.

cornered but not broken Niyol

Nothing could harm the bond between Mochi and his brother, Niyol. Their strength together was inpenetrable. Niyol was the more outgoing one, at least on first impression. What you saw is what you got with Niyol, pranks and all. He was a jokester through and through. Mochi was the more reserved sibling, or at least, that's what he wanted the world to see. He could be a whole different wolf with his brother. He adored his older siblings and his parents and grandparents but he could tell Niyol was restless. He wanted more, as always. When he told Niyol that he was hunting pirates, of course his brother got butt hurt and started shrieking about him hunting bad guys without him. Mochi's tips twitched into a smirk as he wagged his tail. "Only tracking them, Niyol. Not the fun stuff like actually trying to catch them. I was waiting on you for that." He gave his brother a playful wink, his eyes twinkling.

Niyol clung to the story he fed him about the pirates stealing the stone. He nodded along as his brother went on about how they found out the powers and took it cause of that. He stood tall as his brother finished, lips tugging into a grin. "That's right! We'll show them who they're messing with!" Humor reflected in his eyes as Niyol ducked his head with a squeal, looking around to make sure no one overheard them. He snorted and rolled his eyes, but pretended to play along, slouching his shoulders a little to make himself seem smaller. He was quick to tell Niyol though that the pirates went over the borders. Of course, his brother bought it, saying they would go after them. Mochi wagged his tail and nodded. He turned his head following his brother as he went to take off before stopping. As he brother turned back to him, he tilted his head thoughtfully. Where to take them?

Finally he grinned and lunged forward. "They went this way!" He called out, knowing Niyol would be right on his heels as he loped over the borders and toward the woodlands. He hadn't been to Enocra yet so surely there would be fun to be had there! It didn't take long for the trees around them to change and spread out. The woodlands were close to the terrain of Taviora so Mochi still felt comfortable and safe here, even if that might not be such a good thing. The ground grew moist as they kept loping through though, until Mochi had to stop cause his paws were being sucked into the ground, deeper with every step. He flicked an ear back toward Niyol, looking around as he wrinkled up his nose. "Do you smell that? Swampy. It stinks."
