PRIME MINISTER'S DECREE

"None." - Leader

The Offspring

Diccon (Cicada x Khar'pern)

Rules

• The Vulcan Peak is where homeless mares come to live as a sisterhood. Stallions may not live here except as captives or companions for the Leaders.

• Warriors keep mainly to fighting, Thinkers keep mainly to raiding, and Politicians may do both, neither, or act as diplomats. Members may issue their own battles and raids, but should generally consult the General, Codebreaker or Prime Minister for permission.

• All major decisions are determined by vote, but the Prime Minister maintains order within the Peak and has the final say.

• Elections for leadership positions will be held every TLI summer, provided the qualifying criteria are met.

• You can find detailed information about how the Peak works on the Rules page.

*~My Next Collison Course~*

one hundred miles an hour...

He was so caught up in his own thoughts that he didn't hear the black mare coming toward him until she was practically already talking to him. His head snapped around, brown eyes taking in her kind disposition as she greeted him. His tail gave a gentle swish, his head tilting as he pricked his ears and listened attentively. She didn't seem upset by the presence of a stallion here. If anything, she looked positively giddy about something. He couldn't guess it had anything to do with his being here though. She asked if he'd come to live on the mountain and gushed about how pretty it was. He felt his lips curling into a smile as she spoke, obviously proud of her home. And why shouldn't she be? So far the glimpses he'd gotten of the Peak was spectacular. If only he wasn't here as a captive.

He dipped his head in greeting to her, his gaze sweeping over her draft form. She seemed healthy and in good spirits and judging by the width of her torso, Collision could guess she was carrying also. He was happy for her, wanting to feel the joys of parenthood himself one day, hopefully with someone special. He could only wonder what it was like to know you had a young one on the way, someone to depend on you for every little thing, someone who looked up to you. With a soft sigh, he shook his head of such thoughts and came back to the here and now. He rolled his shoulders in a shrug. "In a way, yes, I guess I have come to live here. I was a member of the Lagoon, and they have all been brought over here now, as captives, I believe."

He watched her carefully as he spoke, gauging her reaction once he told her the truth. Would she draw back from him, be disgusted by the idea that he came from the Lagoon. Most mares seemed to feel that way. Collision didn't count himself as anything like the other stallions of the bachelor herd but he remembered Kendry's words well, that just an association with them might mark him as bad, especially to mares. Once he'd watched her long enough, he thought he might add more to set a first impression. "And yes, it is beautiful here. I can see why you like it. My name is Collision." He said with a polite dip of his head, trying to be every bit the gentleman he really was.
