Ice Mountain

The Ice Mountain is much smaller than Wolf Mountain, yet climbing up it is far more difficult and shouldn't be attempted in winter. Some creatures collect the shiny stones at the peak of this mountain for necklaces.

She finished her meal about the same time Fate did. Dracana continued to go over her regime in her mind. Speed, stamina, strength: all three were required to be a good fighter in any situation. The grey female knew of human assassins, but an assassin among the animal kingdom was different. Stealth was also necassary.

It was because of these four things the Dracana chose the Ice Mountain for training. All four could be incorporated into lessons both on the ground at higher elevations. The fae made her way towards a place on the base of the peak that would be an easy starting point for a climb. She looked over her shoulder, speaking to the pup, "An assassin must be quick, but they must also be silent."

Dracana stepped up a few feet, placing her paws on each hold without stirring the loose rocks and pebbles that had settled in places. Her green eyes looked back to the black and gold pup as she continued, "While a hunter can be silent to get their kill, to strike another predator requires much more stealth. The climb will help you in paw placement in all place. It will keep you on your toes."

She paused for a moment, climbing up to a higher outcropping. Still, nothing shifted beneath her weight. Dracana then called down to Fate, "When you move, it must be deliberate. You are in control of your environment, not your target." A wind blew, rustling her fur as she waited for Fate to make her way up.
