Ice Mountain

The Ice Mountain is much smaller than Wolf Mountain, yet climbing up it is far more difficult and shouldn't be attempted in winter. Some creatures collect the shiny stones at the peak of this mountain for necklaces.

...Vidar's black ears were still perked as he awaited a reply. He was starting to wonder if anyone was there at all. Indeed, it was a rather harsh place to be in the winter. The crisp wind danced in Vidar's fur, causing it to ruffle up and down as it wildly changed direction. Mountains always seemed to have wilder winds and harsher snow. His black fur was now spotted with white flecks, slowly turning to chunks, but whenever they go to be too much Vidar would just shake it off. His head tilted as he heard a hesitant hello. He always got hesitant hellos, and never understood why. He didn't realize his seriousness was so unfriendly. With a look of curiosity painted on his face, he traveled closer to the cave the young creature lingered in. His nose told him another was there, a scent he was not familiar with. He lowered his nose to the ground, overestimating and shoving it into the snow. He jerked his head back with the rush of cold to his nose, and his eyes wandered in an attempt to find the creature. It was difficult at first, as he was not expecting Squall to be so small. Not only that, but Squall blended in well.

Eventually his deep amber eyes found the young cub, and a look of confusion danced on his face. He had never seen such a creature before, in fact he had only ever met canines and humans. The cat family was something new to him. With strong confident strides, Vidar edged closer to the cub, nose lowering as he got closer to smell him. Once he got a good smell, still a good distance away, he let a small smile peek through in an attempt to be friendly. It wasn't that great of an attempt, he still looked rather serious.

"What is a pup like you doing up here? It is dangerous up here you know." he said, voice laced with concern for the cub.
