Ice Mountain

The Ice Mountain is much smaller than Wolf Mountain, yet climbing up it is far more difficult and shouldn't be attempted in winter. Some creatures collect the shiny stones at the peak of this mountain for necklaces.

She shrank back at the tone of voice, the harshness, the venom in it. Oh, she was a stupid creature. She should have continued on her way, putting the male out of her mind. But, she could never do that. It wasn't in her nature. She was nothing like the brute before her, she couldn't hurt people, ignore them when they were in need.

She nearly laughed at his words however. She left him? What world was he living in? Because, surely, it couldn't be reality. She never left him, he had always pined for another. Theirs was an arrangement merely for him to carry on his line. And, the only one who did any leaving was him. She had accepted it. Oh, she had hated the situation, but she had accepted it. She sat back upon her haunches, wrapping her tail around her paws. She sat up tall, unafraid, or, at least refusing to appear it. She didn't think he'd try to harm her, but there was so little she really knew about him. So precious little in all those years..

"I am still alive, yes. As you are, I see." She watched him, ever cautious. "And, Tycoon.. Oh, silly Tycoon. Do you not even remember what it was we had? I never left you. No. It was quite the opposite, really" She breathed a soft sigh. She was sure she'd receive backlash for the "silly" comment, but at this moment she didn't much care about his cutting words. She was concerned about his health, he looked far too thin. "And I do not come to taunt you. I would never. I was..." She trailed off. She was not going to tell him she was worried about him. That would only add fuel to his fire, and she didn't need it. She knew she had to say something. But, she just couldn't think of the right words. He'd most likely take it all the wrong way, anyway.
