tell me that you love me more

sleepless long nights
that is what my youth was for

Yscha could barely contain her excitement as they traveled from one part of the Islands to another. She would often find herself accidentally ahead of Kieron, and then have to wait for him to catch up before continuing onwards towards Luthien, slowing her pace to stay behind him. They travelled for what seemed like hours (and it very well could have been; getting from one area of the Islands to the other was no simple task, she heard), before finally they reached Luthien. Even then, their work was not done; they still had to locate the entrance to the Forest.

The sun was dipping below the distant horizon by the time they reached the Forest. As they approached the crest of the hill where the entrance to the Forest was located, Yscha was oh-so-tempted to shoot ahead of Kieron, to be the first of the pair to reach the border. However, having been taught to always remain in her place, she instead pursed her lips and remained respectfully behind the king. She could see the entrance just ahead of them and her excitement built to an almost unbearable level. Yscha snorted impatiently, growing more eager with each step. But finally, finally, they reached the crest of the hill, and the young grey Arabian was greeted with the sight of her new home.

Despite Kieron's insisting that the place needed work, Yscha thought it was beautiful despite its rather neglected appearance. A wide smile swept its way across her lips, and she turned to Kieron, nodding her skull approvingly.

It's lovely, sir. I am sure once you get the work you want done, it will look even more beautiful. She says positively, with a bob of her pretty little head, her dark mane bouncing against the flesh of her neck. I am looking forward to living here. Thank you. She reaches over to place a soft nuzzle on Kieron's shoulder, a smile gracing her charcoal-colored lips. Her lips barely brush against the skin of his shoulder before she has turned and continued their trek into the heart of the territory, her steps high as she pranced along jovially. I wish to explore a little, and perhaps I can begin tidying up as well. Is that all right?
