Dögun russet eyes sparkle... it had been such long time since he had acted like a young horse, time had robbed him of his youth; but Freya was slowly bringing it back out in him. "It is so...pretty Freya. We will have to have a rematch." His voice takes on a playful tone, almost challenging her again. His playing continued as he reared and playful nipped her on the shoulder, her squeals fill his ears. Than her muzzle is buried in his ebony mane, he slows his motion to enjoy the caresses that she showered on him. Fuzzy ears swivel towards the sound of her honey sweet voice, drinking every word. "I am happy that you like it here with me. I wanted you to be safe...and I thought you were pretty so that was an added bonus, now that I have spent more time with you I find you are sweet and intelligent." A smile traces his dark lips, knowing that he was laying it on thick but it was the truth, he wouldn't lie.

Listening to her next questions quietly, he feels her curiousty about the other members of the herd... at the moment it was just the three of them, but he knew that soon he would have to leave to bring home some others. "At the moment is just the three of us, m'dear. I will have to leave soon to search for others. I plan on having a beta stallion, as long as they are loyal. I may have to wonder to the commons, seeing if there are more newcomers to the Islands." He knew that these were valid questions... Hopefully his answers were sufficient...

Dögun lifts his head skywards, as the wind begins to gust down from the mountain tops, its frigid breath reaching its grasp around the pair of horses. Pinning his ears into his ebony mane, a look of irritation flashes across his face. "We should probably head towards the pines along the side of the meadow, I have a feeling this storm will be a nasty one... The storms around here can be so unpredictable sometimes." Nodding towards the trees, he picks up a slow trot. He knew that spring soon would be here but it seemed as if winter wanted to through another storm our way.
