ONLY THE STRONG WILL SURVIVE

M A G N U S
THE spotted boy had kept Elexzra and Amity firmly within range since he had happened upon them on his overdue return from the borders. While he knew not to crowd Elexzra, he still kept close to make sure no harm came to them - likewise, Roseriya and Maeja were also never far from his radar. Responsibility was an odd feeling, especially for someone who had been as carefree as Magnus. It was a learning curve but he seemed to be adjusting. It was not, however, as easy as Olaf had made it look.

THE young stallion's shoulder was now well on the way to healing and while it still caused him to limp; it did not look nearly as raw. He had begun to get used to making as few sudden movements as possible but was starting to push it a little - forcing more weight on it to get it back to normal. Luckily, there had been no muscle damage.

EARS swiveled at the sound of boisterous rustling and a stern voice. Magnus lifted his head from grazing and peered ahead at the gaps in the trees. He didn't see them yet, but he knew Elexzra and Amity were nearby. Clearly Amity had taken after him and was becoming a pain for her mother to deal with. He felt a little guilty for having put his own mother through that but foals will be foals. Had he been there to see Elexzra's physical punishment, he'd have had flashbacks to his own childhood. Nips had been the only thing that worked for a time....up until he figured out how to dodge them.

MOMENTS later, the pair appeared through the pines. Magnus nickered a greeting and quickly replaced his amused smile with a friendly one before Elexzra could spot it. His gaze travelled down to Amity and he raised an invisible brow though his smile betrayed any attempt at a lecture "I hope you're behaving youself".
