15.3hh - Gypsy Vanner - Lead of the Inlet

Spring sun had danced it merry rhythm upon the island of Tinuvel and brought the world back to life. In the tundra of the Inlet the weather had still been harsh, but tempered by the Bay and the caves and hills that created the landlocked border of the territory. The did not stop the winter from taking its extreme grip on the tundra lands. Through the chill the stallion had travelled only enough to learn his land and to find the places he could bring his herd for safety from the blowing wind. Refuge was found in patches of thickets and thin forests among the hills, but now the world had warmed, Pagan had ventured forward to more examine the beaches.

He followed the small rivers and streams that had grown thick with winter melt off and rain. The grass of the rolling plains gleamed emerald in the sun. The season would be short, but spring and summer would be a time of abundance to make up for winter cruel temper.

The gypsy had travelled to the inlet his home was named after and looked over into the sea. Soon, he hoped, he would be able to share this place with others and they could celebrate the seasons of change together.
