A Mystic’s Myth or Fable…

Ailill
Cream Gold Champagne Sabino : Lord of Paradise : LydenXTaytim

There had been so much to see, and so much to learn in the short time he had been on the island. Just over a year old and he walked alone through the trails of the forest. He did not begrudge his mother anymore, understanding that he needed to be on his own, away from the Peak. The facts did not keep him from missing his mother, or his sister. Taika had always been ready to play with him. Dance in the falling stars, go on endless adventures, and fill his days with the dreams and wonders of fantasy. He studied a large stone that seemed to study him with strange carved eyes. She would have loved this place.

His light creamy body trotted through the shadows. Slim body, not even close to being filled out, made slipping from one gap of light to another smooth and graceful. Long and awkward limbs still learning to expertly move around his new home. He was learning and he was determined to one day be the lord of his home. To do that, he followed old trails and dead scents, looking anywhere and everywhere for life that was equine. Every so often he thought he glimpsed a flash of flesh that quickly vanished again into the tropical shadows.

A soft sigh came from the young boy’s lips and he walked back to the shores of Atlantis. He dared not enter the water and leave his home unguarded, but that did not stop him from staring out at the distance at what would one day be his to explore. To his surprise, a dark shape was watching the sands and the waters of the beach. His young voice split through the air. The eager colt pranced forward, his hooves flying wildly through the air in his excitement. As he drew closer he noticed the other horse was about his age. Blue eyes shining bright and ears perked forward to her, he stopped just in front of her, a wide smile on his face. “Hello!” He bowed his head respectfully, as he had been taught to do for lovely women he came across. “You’ve come to the beach to dance in the waves? Play in the sand?” Beaming face looked at her as he trotted through each of these things respectively. The filly smelled of the forest and Ailill’s grin turned mischievous. “I can see the forest still has many beautiful secrets to share.”
