my mind's like a deadly disease

Logic was something easily understood by the beast - whereas emotion outside of immense rage was foreign and in itself frustrating. Sure smooth words flowing from his maw like an endless waterfall but the desire and feeling behind them? More often than not it was like a dried up well. After all, this was how Owdeht raised her kleinzoon, her grandson, seeing as she never had a son of her own.

Quiet as the beauties explored, his amber eyes kept watch on the horizon. Although he had deemed the desert stallion a coward, he would not be surprised if his newest enemy made an appearance at some point and time. Let him come, you can teach him what a true warrior looks like, he thought with a snort. Koray, that was what the mare called him. As he turned it over in his mind, he contemplated making a visit of his own. Vita Nova was obviously in need of rescuing. She had been more than displeased when the stag showed up and forced her back home. It is only as Dora speaks that Orkaan his brought back to the present and the company he keeps.

”It sounds as if you may have had wonderful games of hide and seek then.”

As serious as the raven and snow painted brute could be, there was a childish streak buried in his chest. Perhaps it was why he enjoyed mind games so much - it fed both sides of his personality. In some ways, it was as if the girls were split parts of him. Granted, he had never been as carefree as the roan seemed to be. Growing up in a family like his meant a lot of training and introspection. Auds twitched as he listened, the voices echoing slightly from the walls of the glittering cave. It was a formidable shelter, able to hold at least the majority of a herd. It made his proud - though he’d only been there a few short days he had gained valuable knowledge of his home.

Slightly surprised as he listened to the two bicker for a moment, the behemoth clears his throat before speaking. ”I’m afraid there is no one else yet. Though I do hope that will change in the near future. I have hopes for a large family the works and lives together in unity.” It was one thing his family had never been good that that Orkaan hoped to change. Distant and aloof, very rarely had Owdeht interacted with her herd mates. Sterkte, while a social butterfly in her own right, was too abrasive for most equine’s tastes.

Continuing on he is happy to see they understand the dangerous of the wolves. Of course, they’ve lived on Tinuvel. Howls are hard to ignore. He reminded himself as he watches with careful, amber orbs., surprised when Dora moves a bit closer to him but finding that he is also quite pleased by it.

”It is my native tongue, all in my family know at least the basics. They call it dutch.” Oh the hours he spent having it drilled into him! Owdeht ever so persistent that he would be more eloquent and fluid in their tongue than any other.

”For the moment it seems there aren’t many other dangerous - though I will warn you of a stallion named Koray. He is an enemy of the Inlet.”
