Scorpion's Sinking

Yesterday's CHINFO Clips contained a long article from the Navy Times concerning the sinking of the Scorpion in 1968. The author claims she was sunk by a Soviet submarine and that COMSUBLANT (V Adm Arnold Schade) and CNO (Adm Tom Moorer) knew it and lied about it in the following investigation and to families and news organizations. The author claims that he heard the truth in a many-years-later phone interview of Adm Schade.
