We run the world

The weather in the desert finally seemed to be settling down. The rain was dissappearing. But the ponds were still over flowed with water and sand turned to quick sand in places was still very much a threat to his herd. What was he going to do? He worried that the desert would be the death of them, but not from the humidity of the day or the freezing cold of the night but from the weather. He has decided to take leave of his desert for a little exploring to think on what he might do to protect his herd better. Luckily no other stallion had come calling and he and his herd were realtivly safe. So now it was time to explore to see what was out here. Maybe bring home another mare or a friendly stallion.

The Norwegian Fjord stallion was short but had an almost drafty build. His body was wet from exiting the ocean onto the beach. His hooves carried him across the beach and toward the meadow. His nostrils flaring as it took in the scents and he took bites of grass on his way till his nostrils picked up a scent of a lone mare. He lifts his dial up and lets his upper lip rise in a fleming response before moving in the direction the scent seemed to be coming from. He pauses as a mare comes in to site and he whinnies out to her to announce his arrival before approaching her. Greetings, My name is Liland. Are you alone? He asks.

He did not scent any others near by that might call her theirs. Any scent of another stallion was probably washed off of her in her swim here as he assumed like most of them she had taken the plung from somewhere. It did not matter where it came from but perhaps she would come with him to his home and join his mares. Or perhaps they'll just be friends.
