Tarek is always attentive, but as Hannah's second pregnancy advances, he becomes even more so. He is sick with worry. Regrets have crossed his mind. He shouldn't have ever mounted her. Hannah is so precious to him. What if something goes wrong and he loses her? Thoughts of some misfortune befalling his lover are the stuff of his worst nightmares. Tarek is restless, and on edge. He tries to distract himself with time spent with Yngvar, but worried thoughts remain in the back of his mind.

Tarek is glad Hannah has made friends in the forest, and glad she doesn't have to go alone in this moment. Tarek stands sentry near his small family, tension mounting until Creed arrives. Once Creed emerges on the scene, Tarek knows it's time and he knows the role he must play. He calls gently to Yngvar. "Come, son. Let your mother go."

Tarek will wait here with Yngvar so Hannah can do what she needs to do without too many prying eyes.
