i do what i want

He was growing bored of wandering the main land, looking for company and food. There was plentiful grass and other horses, but it wasn't the environment he was used to. He'd always been in a herd growing up. He was used to being surrounded by others of his kind, always having another set of eyes to watch out for danger and such. This lone stuff was for the birds. He knew there was a bachelor herd on the island but really, he didn't want to be surrounded by a bunch of dudes. That just didn't sound like his cup of tea. He didn't mind other stallions. He just liked mares better. Who wouldn't? So instead of heading in that direction, he waded right into the water and started swimming toward one of the other islands. He just kind of played eenie meenie miney moe in his head to pick one and started toward it.

Sure, he might get run off when he got there, but maybe he wouldn't. He wouldn't know unless he tried, right? So he swam until he reached the shores of the Bay and when he came up on grass, he shook out the water and just waited. He knew it would only be a matter of time before someone figured out he was here. He didn't want to tresspass further onto the island. That was definitely the way to get chased out. So instead he just shifted his weight and waited. He contemplated getting a few bites of grass but it seemed rude, almost like he was stealing resources that weren't his or something. Sighing, he shook out his mane and tossed his head, stomping a hoof as he tried to wait as patiently as possible.
