She'd seen the colt from afar plenty of times but he was usually either with Rougaru and off by himself. He seemed miserable most times she found him and she didn't want to ruin her day so she'd usually avoid him and go on about her business. But not today. He looked sad as always as he looked out over the ocean and she snorted and tossed her head as she stepped out of the jungle. "Alright, let's turn that frown upside down." She all but demanded of the colt as she stomped her hoof and looked at him. Her two toned eyes dared him to challenge her as her tail flicked back and forth. "Why are you always so sad?" She said as she tilted her head. But then she shook her head and snorted with a scowl. "No, scratch that. I don't even want to know. I don't want any of your sadness to wipe off on me." As if to fend it off, her whole body gave a shake as she pawed the soft sand. "You need to play or explore or something to get your mind off whatever it is. Come with me and we'll see if we can fix that." Straightening up, she lifted her head and pricked her ears. "Let's start with names. I'm Medusa. Who are you?"
