The sky was alive! It boiled with growing fury, growling with thunder and rippling with lightening. Ruger stood upon the shore as the waves came crashing in, biting at his legs as if it wished to latch on and drag him down to the depths. Head raised, his eyes aglow with the blue crackle of electricity that snapped overhead, the stallion could feel that fury within. It ignited his blood with fire, and as the crash of lightening landed upon the sandy shores, Ruger raised himself up into a rear and let out a blood chilling scream. He lashed out as if he wanted to fight the storm itself, the need to be afraid no longer there.


As he came back down, his pillars crashed into an oncoming wave, splashing the salt water up against his chest. Without warning, the stallion launched himself into the merciless waters. When he no longer could touch the bottom, he was taken this way and that. But he never stopped fighting, the fire only flamed brighter as he fought with the sea herself.


When Ruger reached Tinuvel, he had left behind the storm. But it’s fury still lighted the distance sky, and the clouds blackened out the moon. Only the glow of his yellow eyes pierced the darkness as he emerged onto the rocky shore. The chill was burned away by the heat in his blood, and his breath fogged before his nose like a dragon about to melt the world in its fire. He did not try to hide his presence; his mind too wrapped in the darkness to see the danger that might lurk here.


Following the only scent that mattered, Ruger moved like a wraith across the frigid outcrop. But when he found her, the beast drew away from her light. Ears pinned beneath his matted wet mane, his head lowered, a gruntal sound escaped the stallion like the sound of a demonic beast.
