It made him feel bigger, older, more important. She almost looked embarrassed when he asked about the other side of the island and she said she hadn't. She laughed but looked a little eager to explore more and he felt his own skin ripple with excitement of his own. Finally, someone to explore with! Without Legolas around, he felt lonely more often than not now a days. She admitted she kept to herself mostly and she'd only met him, Cain, and another mare named Nasa. She seemed hesitant when she said she wasn't good with socializing. His face softened a little as he flicked his tail. "That's alright. You're trying and that's something." He offered with a smile.

He thought he saw some shadows behind those stunning golden eyes but he knew it wans't his business to ask about them. Whatever her past, she could keep it to herself if she wanted or share and he would be a listening ear. The gray mare finally gave a bob of her head and said she'd like him to escort her. She admitted her winter coat had shed but shade was still good to have. He smiled again and dipped his head. "The desert takes some getting used to. Right this way." Nudging his head, he led her across the sandy dunes, stopping along the way to let her get drinks and mouthfuls of grass. When they made it to the cave, he showed her the entrance. "This is a neat place to know about. It stays cooler in here than out in the sun and there's a spring-fed pool of water inside that's always refreshing. Feel free to come here to relief anytime." He paused there for a moment in case she wanted to go inside and look around. If not, he would turn to continue on the tour.
