She felt her heart aching for Aponi. She looked so sad about losing that stallion. He must have been very important to her. Creed smiled as the other mare introduced herself to Roheryn. She seemed to appreciate his kind nature as did Creed. Her heart broke a little more when Aponi admitted that the stallion's scent was fading, like there was no hope left. He was gone. She lowered her head, her ears flicking back as her eyes saddened. "I'm sorry to hear that." Aponi said she was new to the islands and the stallion was her companion. Of course it would be hard to lose someone after they were the first friendly face you found in a new place. He invited her here. She said that she knew no one now but them and Creed smiled a little, lifting her head. "Well, it's a pleasure to meet you, Aponi. I'm sure we'll be great friends." She turned her attention back to Roheryn though as he said he was healing and fine. Her eyes lit up with hope, glad to know he didn't have any bad damage from the war. "Glad to hear it." She noted the small scar on his shoulder but didn't remember him getting hurt there by the roan stallion during the war. Did he get into it with someone else after he left her or was it another fight altogether? Creed knew he had a herd on another island so he probably had to fight challengers. She shivered at the implications, hoping he wouldn't get too hurt during those either. Her smile only widened as Roheryn offered to be friends with Aponi as well. She nodded in agreement when he said she would be a friend too. "Of course." He said he'd been trying to get her to come visit his island but she loved it here too much and Creed snorted with a small shake of her head. "Well, I do love it here, but that's not the only reason." She knew he must be guarding her true reason, maybe not wanting to give up her secrets. She appreciated it, giving him a small smile before she turned to Aponi. "I'm afraid of the water. Persephone was very patient with me getting here."
