Movement nearby catches her attention rather quickly. Her ears shift to the sound of the approaching horse and her body turns to watch the young stallion coming right towards her. She did not recognize him at all so she could only assume he was an intruder. Possibly apart of the large group’s herd or a child of one of the mare’s, but she would have seen him before. He did not look like any of them. His whinny was friendly, but Scorpio stays weary. She did not have any experience being in a real fight, but mother had always told herself to stay alert around strange stallions.

He draws closer and closer until he was within speaking distance. Red ears shoot up straight as soon as the black stallion says the name Bahadir. She also recognizes the name Golden Illusion. As he asks if he was on Salem, her head nods slowly. ”You are Galahad.” It takes her a few minutes to actually reveal who she was because she was too in awe staring at him. This was her half brother and the first she has met since some time ago. Actually, most of the foal Bahadir had conceived when he was back in the Dunes had not really spoken to her. She knew nothing of her siblings though she expected there were many more. Scorpio picks up a walk and circles around the young stallion - just once – before stopping back at his front. ”I apologize, but I have never met a sibling of mine before. My name is Scorpio, daughter of Bahadir and Libra. It seems we share the same sire.” She smiles.

”I have also heard of your mother. She was a member of Bahadir’s herd some time ago when I was just born. She was a good friend of my grandmother Desirie. I hope she is doing well these days.” Slowly, it was all coming back to her. Golden Illusion had left pregnant with Bahadir’s foal and this must have been that foal she birthed.
