Boss's Decree

"For every brother you bring to our
midst, you may keep a trinket all to
yourself. She will not be sullied or traded, unless you deem otherwise. But should you bring a mare here without a new brother first, then I will consider her property of the Lagoon as a whole
and do with her as I see fit." - Garmr

Rules

• The Lagoon is where homeless stallions come to live as a brotherhood. Mares may not live here except as captives or companions for the Leaders.

• Soldiers keep mainly to fighting, Thieves keep mainly to raiding, and Associates may do both, neither, or act as diplomats. Members may issue their own battles and raids, but should generally consult the General, Marauder or Boss for permission.

• All major decisions are determined by vote, but the Boss maintains order within the Lagoon and has the final say.

• Elections for leadership positions will be held every TLI summer, provided the qualifying criteria are met.

• You can find detailed information about how the Lagoon works on the Rules page.

• Upon election, the Boss can issue a rule for members to follow during their tenure. It is up to leadership to enforce.

I CANNOT BE ALTERED Rade/open

He had taken his sweet time making the swim from Salem to the Crossing, and he didn't regret a minute of it. He enjoyed the swim, really churning his legs and thinking of the freedom he would get away from home, while also knowing he would miss it. He would miss his father and his family, but he knew this was for the best. He was going to live with other stallions and learn from them. He knew he didn't like Cullen and his ideas of how to train bachelor stallions, but that didn't mean he had to act like him. He wouldn't steal mares against their will and make them captives in the Lagoon. He refused. But would he block force claims from other stallions and give them that freedom to get away? That sounded more up his alley.

He would go to the Lagoon and report in to save face and make his father a man of his word, but it didn't mean he had to be a loyal bachelor. He would see if there were other like-minded stallions and maybe befriend them. If not, he would stick to himself and try to do some good while he was there. Surely, they couldn't all be bad, right? The stocky black stallion snorted as he walked out of the waves and shook out his coat. Tossing his head, he trotted further inland, making his way through the Meadow toward the borders of the Lagoon. Once he got closer, surprise crossed his features. There was a different scent here. He knew the scent of Cullen, having met the golden paint stallion on the Crossing when he was yearling, but this was a different smell altogether.

There was a new leader here. Snorting again in uncertainty, his ears flicked back and forth as he pawed the ground and called out, wondering who would approach.
