And the cold lonely air. On the rock restless seas. Her time on the common isle was beginning to feel eerily familiar, to the point that Tavas was doubting why she returned to the islands at all. Of course, the young palomino mare wasn't sure what to expect when she washed ashore for the first time in years. The land looked very much the same, for the most part. The scents were both familiar and fresh. The former Tinuvel princess struggled with how to process just how mundane her return was shaping up to be. The islands and its inhabitants, it seemed, had moved on. New horses were here, some of the old remained. But whatever mark Tavas and her family had made here seemed to be fading away. She felt a pit in the bottom of her stomach when she thought on this for too long. Warsaw had worked tirelessly, to his own detriment, to make sure his legacy lived on after his awful demise. And perhaps it still did in a way. Maybe her brothers and sister were still here. But is this what he had in mind? Surely not. She knew in her heart that the great grey stallion had hoped his family would have stayed woven together. But when it came down to it, Tavas had chosen to follow her dam and her uncle, solidifying her tear from whatever remained of her Tinuvel blood bond. With a deep sigh, Tavas mulled through the meadow now, lipping lazily at the fresh chutes of green summer grass. Sadness tugged at her, a sadly familiar feeling of depression fogging around the edges. She was learning the hard way that she wasn't so strong out on her own. Not like her mother, or her grandmother, before her. But the golden mare couldn't bring herself to head toward Tinuvel. Not yet, at least.
