Boss's Decree

"For every brother you bring to our
midst, you may keep a trinket all to
yourself. She will not be sullied or traded, unless you deem otherwise. But should you bring a mare here without a new brother first, then I will consider her property of the Lagoon as a whole
and do with her as I see fit." - Garmr

Rules

• The Lagoon is where homeless stallions come to live as a brotherhood. Mares may not live here except as captives or companions for the Leaders.

• Soldiers keep mainly to fighting, Thieves keep mainly to raiding, and Associates may do both, neither, or act as diplomats. Members may issue their own battles and raids, but should generally consult the General, Marauder or Boss for permission.

• All major decisions are determined by vote, but the Boss maintains order within the Lagoon and has the final say.

• Elections for leadership positions will be held every TLI summer, provided the qualifying criteria are met.

• You can find detailed information about how the Lagoon works on the Rules page.

• Upon election, the Boss can issue a rule for members to follow during their tenure. It is up to leadership to enforce.

let me be brave (tyr)

With the results of the Peak election looming, only a few weeks away but seemingly going the way she’d hoped, Oswin knew she couldn’t afford to stop. Just because her sisters agreed she could lead and no one (yet) had spoken up against it didn’t mean she could get comfortable. The work she did now was just as important (if not more so) now that she potentially carried the Prime Minister title again.

The Lagoon.

Oswin was no stranger to the strange pull the Lagoon had on her as a Peak mare. She’d even lived temporarily among the shaded, muddy shores as a captive for some time, refusing to be released until she beat one of them for her freedom.

The last time she’d been here alone, she’d found Ernesto. Or, he’d found her.

Oswin came to a halt, giving her head a firm shake as she pushed her memories at bay and focused on the present. The Lagoon laid out before her, she’d just barely crossed over the border without announcing herself. How quick were the bachelors to respond these days to a strange mare sneaking past their border? A Peak mare, no less?

She peered into the distance and breathed slow, calming the adrenaline trying to leak into her veins that made her feel a bit antsy. It was likely the boss would come along again, but Oswin wouldn’t mind. Whoever it was, she hoped they’d come along soon. She’d never been particularly good at being patient.

oswin
this is as brave as I know how to be.
I know it’s gonna hurt you, but please… be a little proud of me.
